I enjoyed the small setting. It was like a hands on class.The way we used the Hybird was so helpful when I got stuck in areas of solving problems. I like working with each other. Helen
I thought this class was great! I think you are such a great teacher! i really loved the small classroom setting and the hands on experience. I really liked working on the problems together. I also liked the internet portion. It was very helpful!
I absolutely loved your enthusiasm and positive attitude that you kept throughout the entire course. I believe that it is so important to create a good bond with your students, and I feel as though you were able to do that with all of us, despite the short amount of time we spent together in class. The online portion was extremely helpful, I learned so much more from the examples than I would have been able to learn on my own. Thanks for a great mini term and I hope you have a great time at Disneyland!
This was the most fun I've ever had in a math class. I believe that the small class and friendly environment were major assets - however I don't know if a class of 7 will be possible for the fall and spring semester. I think the class was perfect. You focused in on how to teach math and be good teachers, rather than just strictly teaching elementary concepts of math. DO NOT CHANGE A THING! Don't forget to post your vacation pictures on the blog for us to see :)
Mr. Tashbin I really enjoyed having you as my math teacher. My Math Lab was a huge help becasue it forced me to learn the material adn actually understand it. I think students quit trying a problem when they dont have the tools to figure out the problem. My Math Lab gave me those tools I needed to understand every problem. One thing i would suggest for next semester is having the students take turns working a problem out on the board. While the student works the problem out have the student explain what he or she is doing as if he or she is teaching it to a class of yournger students. Overall I think this course was good and helpful. I hope to teach older students in elementary school so I can see myself using many of these methods we have discussed in class.

Professor Tashbin I must say that I am so glad I stuck it out!. I didn't know what to expect at first, so I was really nervous. For some people math is a breeze but for me, it is the total opposite. Thank you for your patience and your tough love. I needed it! I enjoyed the class and found the Math Lab very, very, helpful. The examples just made perfect sense. I hope you are teaching all the other math classes I need in the future.Your teaching style made math interesting. In the future if you will continue to offer the online math lab I think it will have a positive feedback. Students like me can really use the extra help.
